Jack Conner Designs Ltd was created by Jon Levy to offer an alternative to the traditional way that people buy jewellery. Having worked for 24 years at one of the UK’s largest diamond ring manufacturers, supplying multiple and independent retailers, Jon felt he could offer a very different type of service. By bringing his knowledge, experience and passion direct to customers, Jon’s personal jeweller concept was born.

“It’s a simple idea,” Jon says. “Jewellery is a significant purchase – financially and emotionally. Customers need a truly personal service and this is often missing in a shop environment which can also feel imposing. We will never sell online either – jewellery needs the personal, human touch. We work very closely with our customers; it’s important to build a strong relationship with them if we’re going to understand their vision accurately and ascertain their requirements. Once we’ve met and identified what they want, we’ll come back with designs and samples. And we’ll educate them where necessary. Diamonds are complex. There’s a large amount of information available on the internet about the different grades of diamonds, etc. but what does this mean in reality? We can show and teach clients so they can learn for themselves and buy with complete confidence. Diamonds last forever and people want to be reassured that they’ve made the right choice.”
